Dryland Performance Center

Dryland training is a hugely beneficial tool utilized to help train divers across the world. Dryland training is just as important, if not more important, then water practice. This is a worldwide practiced training method and we are fortunate to have the facility that we do.

Our dryland facility, the "performance center," includes 3 diving boards into giant pit mats, a spring floor, a trampoline, and other diving specific equipment. All of this equipment enhances skill acquisition in a safe environment while getting plenty of repetitions during practices. One of the dryland diving boards is equipped with a spotting harness and belt system, where divers can practice and learn new skills in a safe and secure environment similar to the one you see attached to the 1 meter board on deck.

Dryland establishes correct movement patterns on solid ground with multiple repetitions. Using dryland equipment is focused learning with proper skill progressions to build confidence for when they do their skills in the water.
